Heavy Rain Finally Pours Down In Australia And Puts Out Over 30 Bushfires
It’s truly a moment of excitement!
The anticipated moment the whole world has been waiting for to happen in Australia has finally come around. Australia has received heavy raindrops, flash floods, and severe thunderstorms.
Putting out over 32 deadly bushfires in New South Wales, the figure of fires fell from 120 to 88 on Thursday. It’s expected that a 30-88mm worth of rain will occur in the east of New South Wales, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
Residents are equally speculating it might finally bring a sort of relief to the already exhausted firefighters who have been battling with the flames for the past three months.

Rain Finally Poured Down Across Parts of Australia
The local Meteorology Bureau also reported there were some good downpours in the state of New South Wales, -the most affected location that experienced bushfires. Sharing a video of the rainfall online, the New South Wales Rural Fire Service wrote: ‘Relief is here for a figure of firefighters working across NSW. Although, this rain won’t completely put out all the fires, but will certainly go a long way.’
Wet Weather Is Forecast Which Might Bring Relief To Exhausted Firefighters
‘The hit and miss nature of the thunderstorms implies it’s challenging to forecast the exact location where the heaviest rain will be. Some parts of bushfires and drought affecting Eastern Australia could see an estimated 50-100m over the next few days while other areas might see very little.’
