Howard Stern Slammed Johnny Depp For ‘Overacting’ During Amber Heard Trial
“It’s just coming off really badly.”
Howard Stern has aired his perspective on the ongoing defamation trial of Johnny Depp against his ex-wife Amber Heard. The 68-Year-Old has branded the Fantastic Beasts actor a “narcissist,” claiming it’s why he wanted the whole trial televised and that such people think they can talk their way out of anything.
“Donald Trump is the biggest narcissist I’ve ever met in my life, but I think Depp is a huge narcissist,” Stern said on his Sirus XM radio show.
Co-host Robin Quivers agreed with Howard’s perspective and said of Depp: “He figured, ‘I’ll put this on TV and because I’m so persuasive and because I’m so smart, I’m such a wonderful guy. I could act my way through anything.” Stern then shared he would play some clips from Depp’s trial and that if he isn’t acting, he’s so overacting because he’s writing his material as he goes along.
Robin added: “You know, I gotta tell you, he’s wrong. He shouldn’t be putting this on TV in any shape. He’s trying to save his career. I don’t think this is going to help.”
Stern emphasized: “That’s what narcissists do. ‘I will charm the pants off of America at the trial.’ No, you won’t! This will not go well. It’s not going well for you; it’s not going well for her. It’s not going well for anybody. You sound like two battling children.” He then mocked the couple sounding like two petulant children as they flung allegations back and forth, adding that it was coming off badly.
“Johnny Depp testified in court for two days last week. Two days. Think about that, lots of room to embarrass yourself. Two full, f**king days!” Stern shared.
He concluded: “First of all, his difficulty speaking the English Language is fantastic. And the accent. First of all, isn’t he from like the South of the Midwest? Johnny Depp was born in Kentucky. Does that sound like a guy from Kentucky?
