The comedian’s move has also sparked criticisms from social media commenters, with Ratajkowski leading against the objectification of women’s bodies in jokes.

The Australian comedian mimicked a racy photo of the supermodel from two years ago. Celeste Barber recreated the photo that featured Emily Ratajkowski in a skimpy bikini, leaning against a wall. It was quite a good shot but then, the comedian’s caption is met with criticism, as social media commenters referred to Celeste as a ‘misogynist.’

This isn’t the first time the comedian has ridiculed Ratajkowski, but the G-string photoshoot remake appeared to be the tipping point for the My Body author.

Celeste first mocked the supermodel in 2017 [pictured].

As with the caption on the G-string photoshoot, it reads, ‘We are sick of objectifying our bodies! Also, here’s my ass.’ And as result, Ratajkowski blocked the comedian on Instagram, while stating in an episode of her High Low podcast that “the whole drama with Celeste has been blown out of proportion.”

This comes as the 31-year-old has previously discussed how others have exploited her image for financial gain in her book.

She added in the podcast, ‘In general, I find her to be really funny. But, [the] message I was trying to send to her was, “I just don’t want you to do this to me anymore”. I was like, “I’m not giving her my consent for this joke anymore.” It just landed at a specific time for me.’ Ratajkowski claimed she harbors no personal animosity towards Celeste, but that ridiculing women who choose to showcase their bodies is fundamentally misogynistic.

The model continued, ‘We really love to pick on female influencers, like they are considered the trash, lamest, most cringe, most embarrassing people on the planet.’

‘I fundamentally find that to be sexist.” Yeah, no s**t, women want to be influencers – it’s one of the ways that women have learned to be successful and make money. They’re hustling.’ While Celeste faced backlash for parodying Ratajkowski’s photos, she stated earlier this year that she stands by her actions and has no regrets.

The Wellmania star told Marie Claire last January, ‘I like running my mouth off.” I do it a lot. I’m quick-witted – it’s one of my favorite things about me.’

Celeste added, ‘I don’t like that I feel I can’t do that as much, and yeah, I do feel like I censor myself sometimes. But then other times I don’t give a f**k and I operate from a place of already being cancelled. I mean good luck to them. You can’t win. They hate what you do one day, then you’re the greatest thing in the world the next day.’
