Blake Lively Surprisingly Reveals She’s Expecting Baby Number 4 With Husband Ryan Reynolds
Lively and Reynolds are expecting their 4th child.
Congratulations are pouring in for Blake Lively & husband Ryan Reynolds following a shocking baby bump reveal. The couple is expecting their 4th child – this was made known as Lively stepped out cradling her pregnant bump at the Forbes Power Women’s Summit, held on Thursday.
Lively and Reynolds, married since 2012, are already parents to three daughters, James, Inez, and Betty.
For the 10th annual event, where she’s being honored, the 35-Year-Old Gossip Girl star [pictured below] rocked a sheer, gold sequin-encrusted mini dress, which she paired with a pale gold ribbon headband, hoops, and cream platform heels. And honestly, she was utterly glowing!
“I just like to create. Whether that’s baking or storytelling or businesses or humans, I just like creating,” Lively, as per E!News, said of her and Reynolds’ growing family.
However, the Simple Favor star had shared the news of her third pregnancy in a similar fashion in 2019, when she debuted her pregnant stomach at the premiere of Reynolds’ film Detective Pikachu. And this comes as the Deadpool star recently revealed that the desire to spend more time with his children played a large part in his decision to take a sabbatical from acting.
In 2021, Reynolds said in an interview with a LinkedIn New Senior editor at large that he doesn’t want to miss time with his children.
He told Jessi Hempel: “The biggest thing for me and I know you have kids as well, is that I don’t want to miss this time with my kids.” Reynolds insisted he wants his children to be able to live life like normal humans and have a pretty regular schedule, adding that as they grow up, he wants to ensure he’s a present father, a role that he said he enjoys.
Lively herself had suggested she and her husband planned to continue expanding their family in December 2020.
The actress joked during a Today Show appearance that she and Reynolds are breeders. “I’m one of five kids. My husband is one of four, so we’re officially breeders. You can go on our website and we will give you some of our children.” So far, the news of Lively’s new pregnancy has been met with joy from their fans, with many applauding the couple on their growing family.
