Ryan Reynold Left Pricelessly Stunned By Wife Blake Lively’s Dress Transforming At Met Gala
Complete with the tiara!
There are so many celebrities walking through the red carpet like absolute kings and queens for Met Gala 2022. Blake Lively has to rank on the top of the list as the co-chair strutted in with her husband in her Versace copper dress.
Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have been appointed as the co-chairs this year, and fans were excited to see what they’d be wearing.
Ryan arrived looking neat in a velvet Ralph Lauren suit as he strike a pose for the camera.
Her wife, however, was already stealing attention with her copper dress and if you’ve already seen the viral clips, you know she’s hiding a surprise underneath.
This year’s theme was “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” the “Gilded Glamour.”
The white tie was Ryan’s job and Blake had to show that glamour and boy did they understand the assignment.
Worth noting that fans always loved the way they nailed the theme every year for the Met Gala, but they’ve been skipping attendance for the past few years.
She revealed her dress to a gorgeous light, baby blue hue and she even swapped the gloves for a matching pair.
And do you notice the small details etched on the fabric? They were the “little references to New York City” Blake told E!News about.

The pair’s involvement in the prepping for the event guaranteed their attendance and it really felt like they were going all out with this one.
The dress was inspired by the Liberty Statue and its oxidating state.
The transformation left people applauding as her assistants helped out.

The amazing dress blew people away and the internet just can’t get enough of it.
She explained the dress magical change, “So I arrived in copper and then it [patinated] to a verdigris.”
She then talked about the details and pointed at one part, “This is the constellation from Grand Central Station.”
Then she pointed to another and commented, “This is architecture from the Empire State Building — the Statue of Liberty. It’s, you know, lots of little references to New York City.”
People couldn’t really choose if Ryan’s wholesome reactions to his wife’s dress or the unveiling were better.
