Robert Pattinson’s Batman: Jeffrey Wright Is Confirmed To Play Commissioner Gordon

Rumors of Jeffrey Wright playing the role of Commissioner Gordon for Matt Reeves’ Batman has been going on since September. Reeves finally confirms that he’s in just a few hours ago on Twitter when Halloween came.
Commissioner Gordon is a role that exists in almost every Batman installment. Next to him is Jonah Hill who was also in talks for either the role of Penguin or Riddler. He’s had the role of Green Lantern on Will Arnett’s Batman which was part of LEGO movies.
What we’ve known so far on the cast for Batman-reboot is Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman and rumored Joe Keery as another hero. Meanwhile, a few other faces, such as Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman remains. Gal Gadot will be back as the heroine in ‘Wonder Woman 1984’.
Batman’s filming date is expected to begin on late 2019 or early 2020 as the movie is set to air on theaters June 25, 2021. Matt Reeves who was responsible to directing Planet of the Apes will write and direct the new Batman.
