The crafty mom used milk, water, flour, and butter as her major ingredients, before kneading dough and placing it on the slow cooker, acknowledging that it’s a handy alternative as she couldn’t justify a bread machine due to insufficient counter space.

Since sharing the method online, Luttrell’s method has quickly gone viral, garnering over 100,000 shares and reactions.

‘Last night I baked a loaf of bread! I’ve always wanted a bread machine, but couldn’t justify an additional counter space or perhaps another appliance in the kitchen. This works fine and tastes so good – one less thing to purchase on my weekly shopping.’ Luttrell wrote.
