“I’m not mad cause it’s true.”

“In The Name of Love” singer Bebe Rexha expressed feeling upset over finding out the internet has been talking about her weight gain. The three-time Grammy nominee found the trending topic “Bebe Rexha weight on TikTok” and shared it with her Twitter users.

The body positivity advocate told her followers, “I’m not mad cause it’s true. I did gain weight. But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what.”

Born with the name Bleta, she interacted with her fans and told them, “I’ve always struggled with my weight. A bi*** likes to eat.”

Going back in time, the singer once asked people to “normalize 165lbs” and half a year later, shared that she’s been struggling with her body image. She shared in a TikTok in 2021, “I weighed myself just now and I don’t feel comfortable sharing the weight because I feel embarrassed.”

“I don’t feel good in my skin, and when I don’t feel good, I don’t want to post. And that’s really honestly the reason I haven’t been posting in the last year or so as much as I used to.”

“I think all the body positivity that stems from me is probably a place of hurt and confusion of like, I don’t know how to help myself anymore or how to love myself.”

The singer who’s releasing her third album “BEBE” on April 28 however, has not stopped showing off her figure, such as when she was dazzling in blue glitter at the Coachella. Nor have her fans shown their support for the star and asked for platforms to remove tags regarding people’s weight.
