Mom Left Embarrassed After Taking Her Daughter To The Doctor For Black Mark In Her Mouth

Parenting is no simple task, and undeniably, everything done by a child tends to have a mom question her sanity. Who doesn’t want their child to be healthy? 

It’s common for moms to go overboard at times, and here 24-Year-Old Darian Depreta is no exception. The American mom had recently panicked over a huge black mark on the roof of her daughter’s mouth. Depreta had argued with a doctor who suggested it was a birthmark, but as things unfolded, it was just a piece of cardboard.

Her little daughter had chewed on it before it got stuck in the roof of her mouth. Depreta couldn’t keep the whole experience to herself and decided to share the tale on Facebook, revealing she was left embarrassed and might never return to that doctor’s office again.

‘So I am playing with Bella today and noticed the roof of her mouth is black. I tried to wipe it if it would come off, and it didn’t. I get to the doctor’s appointment, and the Nurse practitioner tried to wipe it, and she had never seen anything like it. She decides to consult with doctors, and they suggest maybe a birthmark.’

‘I insisted it wasn’t because I always look in her mouth and clean it. I am now being told my daughter will be set up with specialists. After insisting it wasn’t a birthmark, the NP decided to take another look at the medical mystery. I point out that it looks a little white on the side, and she gets in there trying to scrape it. Only to find out it was a piece of cardboard from a box Bella chewed.’ Depreta post reads.

The mom included the cardboard picture and claimed she would never show her face in the office again. The hilarious incident has amassed over 60K likes, and other parents who find Depreta’s story relatable did share their own experience.
