Michael Jackson’s Son Prince Graduated From US University, Celebrates Milestone
Prince Michael Jackson Jr. is a graduate.
The son of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson has bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from LA’s Loyola Marymount University. Prince Michael Jackson Jr. enrolled in the college in 2015 after graduating from the Buckley school, where Kim Kardashian was previously a student.
For the big day, the California native donned a blue cap and gown, as seen in a series of Instagram Stories clips.
Prince was also spotted in the crowds with friends, showing off his class ring while noting that it was a hot day on the Sunken Garden at the Southern California campus, which sits by the Marina Del Rey area. He further commemorated the occasion with a coffee mug he mistakenly bought 3years ago.
“I can finally take my first sip of coffee out of it and truly be a Loyola alum,” Prince said of the mug that read ‘Loyola Marymount University Alumni.
In another clip, the fresh graduate – older brother to Sister Paris, 21, and Blanket, 17, showed himself on his motorcycle humming as he prepared to depart the graduation ground. “For those of you wondering – yes, I did ride my motorcycle to my graduation,” said Prince, who was aged 12 when his famous father, Michael, passed away on June 25, 2009.
His birth mother, Debbie Rowe, had given up her rights to Prince and Paris in 2001.
Alongside the graduation pictures with his loved ones, including Grandmother Katherine, Prince reportedly wrote: “I met so many people and learned so much that the experience alone is worth it. I wish I could thank everyone that helped me make it to the end but I can’t, and unfortunately, they’re not all pictured here.”
His cousin, named TJ, has since tweeted a photo of himself and Prince on his graduation day.
The caption read: “Prince, it’s been a long road, but you did it. Keep learning, keep growing and keep giving back! So proud of you. I love you.” However, Prince had opened up to the Los Angeles Times in 2016 about his ambitions to enter his family’s business, music but not necessarily as a performer. He attested that music is a big part of his life but always wanted to go into production.
