Jennifer Garner Receives An Epic Birthday Surprise From Donny Osmond
So sweet and heartwarming.
Jennifer Garner has described the moment she received an epic surprise ahead of her 50th birthday as “it was a doozy.” The sweet gesture was carried out by her childhood crush, identified as Donny Osmond. Sharing it all on her Instagram, the “13 Going on 30” star was seen watching a clip of Osmond singing a birthday song to her.
Garner, who appeared to be sitting at a table at a restaurant with friends, watched the video with a hand over her mouth, seemingly in surprise.
And before she could even comment, Osmond stormed behind her and continued singing the song. A shocked Garner then got up from her chair and greeted Osmond, who completed the song. The moment equally witnessed hug, and YES, Garner was so amazed that she said she needed to take off her sweater.
“I’m so hot. Can I just take my sweater off? Garner adorably asked, and Osmond laughed.
Osmond’s appearance wasn’t only the surprise; he had also brought along a gift. A birthday cake that read: “13 Going on 50. Love Donny” in icing. The words indeed were a reference to Garner’s movie “13 Going on 30.” However, Garner celebrated her 50th birthday on Sunday and even reflected on the incredible surprise.
In a post’s caption, she had written: “My first (pre) birthday surprise was a doozy – the one and only legend in his own time, object of my childhood adoration and devotion – @donnyosmond showed up to knock my purple socks off.”
Garner continued: “He took an hour and a half of his day to sit with me, sing my favorites, and to give me a master class on how to be a class act. Thank you, Donny.” The actress then concluded her post, giving a shout-out to Osmond’s sister, Marie, and his wife Debbie, whom Garner said she hopes to meet someday. In the past, the ‘Yes Day’ star had gushed over her love of Osmond.
