‘I’ve Had 11 Weddings To 9 Men – I Can’t Believe My 12th Prospective Husband Left’

Monette Dias, in TLC’s “Addicted to Marriage,” shared her disappointment after failing to find a marriage that stays. The 52-year-old interior designer from the US has been dreaming of being married to the love of her life, but her ex-fiancé John was not the right person.

Monette was engaged to John for a while now, and he was her 12th relationship. She shared, “It’s really painful for me to have another failure, especially in this relationship where I tried so hard.”

She told her sister, Marcie, that recently, their arguments would reach a height that wanted to see them split up. Monette spoke, “Sometimes I think he gets as mean as he can to me because he wants me gone.”

Marcie has always been worried about Monette, who never could find someone she could be with for her forever after. Marcie, who’s been married for 38 years, advised Monette to try to talk things out with John and straighten things.

But it didn’t work and John’s words reverberated in Monette’s mind, “Until you come to terms with what you do and your role in your failed relationships, you’ll never have a good one.”

After another huge fight, Monette walked out of the house and went to her grandchildren for some downtime. And it doesn’t seem like she was excited to walk down the aisle with the man and wants to postpone things for months.

Even so, there are still sparks of tiny hope in her as she continued, “I’m still going to hold on to hope to finally have a good marriage.”
