‘It’s F–king Hard’: Kim Kardashian Cries Over Co-Parenting With Kanye West
In the meantime, Kim’s brood won’t hear a bad word said about Kanye, at least not from her.
Co-parenting with Kanye West hasn’t been easy for Kim Kardashian. The SKIMs founder admitted to making concerted efforts to shed their four children from the rapper’s controversial behavior, including his anti-Semitic attacks, adding she will be so prepared when they eventually ask a question about the public misdeeds.
The 42-year-old revealed her children, North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, won’t hear a bad word said about Kanye, at least not from her.
“One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not bashing their dad when I could. All the crazy s**t. They’ll thank me, and I’ll privately answer anything that they want to know. “It’s not my place anymore to jump in,” the reality TV icon said on Monday’s episode of the Angie Martinez IRL podcast, confessing that keeping quiet has become increasingly difficult.
She added as she sobbed: “Co-parenting is hard. “It’s really f**king hard.”
Kim explained: “I had the best dad, and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids as long as they can have that. That’s what I would want for them. If they don’t know the things that are being said or what’s happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them? That’s heavy grown-up s**t that they’re not ready to deal with.”
The lawyer has had a very close relationship with her late father, Robert Kardashian, and she wants the same for her children with Kanye, 45.
“I definitely protected him and I still will in the eyes of my kids for my kids. In my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on on the outside world. I’m holding on by a thread. I know I’m so close to that not happening. While that’s still happening, I will protect that to the ends of the earth as long as I can,” Kim acknowledged.
In February 2021, the mom-of-four filed for divorce after seven years of marriage.
And as per TMZ, Kim has the children 80% of the time, as West previously admitted in September. Though Kanye publicly attempted to win his wife back but failed, in March 2022, a judge declared the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum legally single. The ex-couple eventually finalized their divorce on November 29th.
Per court documents obtained by Page Six, Kanye will be paying Kim $200,000 a month in child support.
However, Kanye had, a week before the divorce settlement, been accused of showing pornography and explicit photos of Kim to employees who spoke to Rolling Stone. He had also previously opened up about his p*rn addiction, saying it destroyed his family. He wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post in Sept. that Hollywood is a giant brothel P*rnography and he isn’t gonna let it happen to Northy and Chicago.
