As seen here, die-hard fans of Friends to date still remain very loyal despite the movie coming off-air sixteen years ago.
With the world on entering 2020 on Wednesday, an eagle-eyed supporter smartly referenced an episode of the show from 2003, claiming Ross and Rachel’s daughter Emma wouldn’t have woken up till 2020.

In the fourth episode of the series – The One With The Cake, the group (10 of Friends) was gathered for Emma’s birthday despite having all scheduled engagements.

Emma’s parent – Ross and Rachel insisted that as their daughter was asleep the group couldn’t leave, resulting in Monica and Chandler fuming as they were headed to a romantic break.
Recording a video to show Emma on her 18th Birthday, Chandler said to the Camera: ‘Hi Emma, it’s the year 2020. Are you still enjoying your nap? And as the New Year drew nearer, some fans started noting that the scene was now particularly poignant as 2020 is finally here.
Jokingly, Noelle poked fun at the scenario as she shared a photo of her holding a Central Perk Mug and posing over the top of a scene from the shop. ‘Just waking up from my best nap of all time. Happy 2020! I hope everyone has an excellent year filled with family, laughter, and friends!!” Noelle wrote.
