A Doordash driver filmed himself enjoying his customer’s food after he saw that he was only getting $1 as a tip. And he’s not sorry about what he’s done at all. In the controversial video, he talked about how he’s retaliating because he’s done with horrible tips.

The man goes by the name Doordashtips2 and realized that one of his clients had decided to leave only $1 for tips, so helped himself to some food.

The man who has multiple side hustles shared that he doesn’t hate his job and “love the freedom” that comes with it. He’s been driving for DoorDash since 2016 and has always stuck to $2 per mile tipping. The reason being drivers only earn $2.5 per delivery.

Different countries have different food delivery services, which began booming at the end of 2019 and 2020 with the emergence of covid-19. DoorDash dominates the American market and Grab Holdings has the Asian market in its hands.

But the trust is certainly not always there as this man himself admitted that he’s helped himself to the food multiple times. He’s tampered with at least once every week.

Many can’t help but think that his has gotten out of hand: tipping comes after the delivery and what he did was criminal.

Others sympathize with the low tipping.
