Demi Lovato Says ‘Alien’ Is A ‘Derogatory’ Term For Extra Terrestrials
“I think the one that bothers me is they’ll come and take over the planet.”
Demi Lovato has declared the word ‘alien’ is a derogatory term and that ‘ET’ should be used instead. The singer, who came out as a non-binary in May, using them/they pronouns, insisted it’s offensive to extraterrestrials. In an interview with PEDESTRIANtv, Lovato also demanded that we have to stop calling them aliens.
Demi Lovato claimed that the term ‘alien’ is offensive to extraterrestrials and says ‘ET’ should be used instead.
“I think we have to stop calling them aliens because aliens is a derogatory term for anything. That’s why I like to call them ETs! So yeah, that’s a little tidbit. A little information that I learned.” Lovato stated. While it is unknown where the popstar gleaned the information, they’ve spoken to bosses at Peacock, as in the show’s official description, where they were referred to as aliens.
“I think that we have to stop calling them aliens because aliens is a derogatory term for anything,” they urged.
Presently, the singer is promoting their new show titled Unidentified with Demi Lovato.

Each episode will feature Demi and their loved ones gaining insights into the reality behind extraterrestrials.
