Well, at least it all ended well!

Stevie Lucas was excited for his family trip this Christmas. The 10-year-old and his family will be visiting his grandparents in South Africa on December 17. That was where Stevie’s mother was born and will travel from Pretoria to George.

The family headed to Johannesburg airport in glee, but Steve and Marga, Stevie’s parents, were held back due to what was Stevie wearing.

The boy had a black T-shirt with a snake’s pictures imprinted on it.

To the security’s defend it was a nice print of a large green snake that have definitely got a second look from some people. But because of that, Stevie had to take it off and wear something else that won’t be causing anxiety.

Airport rep explained, “Security officers have the right to determine if an object has the potential to harm fellow passengers and crew members by causing certain objects or prints to be anxious.” Footage has also shown the boy taking off his shirt at the security.

Stevie is an interested boy in snakes, spiders and bug which come from his dad who love going to the pet stores while in Africa.

Quick-witted mom told Stevie to flip his shirt inside out instead!
