Avengers: Endgame Surpasses Avatar As The Biggest Movie Of All Time

Marvel launches the tour titled “We Love You 3000.”

Just 30days ago, Avengers: Endgame viewers approved defeated by James Cameron’s Avatar film, stating it would remain the biggest movie of all time. But on July 20, Kevin Fiege when speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con disclosed the defeat was no longer true.

The Culmination of the 22-Movie arc started by Marvel in 2008 is set to surpass Avatar as the highest-earning movie of all time by today or tomorrow. There’s presently an approximate $500,000 difference between Avatar and Avengers: Endgame – which film analyst envisions will close within a day or two.

This, however, prompted the announcement made by Fiege at the Comic-Con. “Thanks to you, Avengers: Endgame is the biggest film of all-time,” Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige said.

Marvel Studios and Disney have been dragging the top spot for decades now. Marvel had released a different version of Endgame at the Cinema on June 28th in a bid to gain audience’s attention again and had promised a deleted scene, a Stan Lee Tribute and an official post-credits scene (one the really got fans overwhelmed). 

“At that time, Endgame was $37M from tumbling Avatar, and many — both Disney insiders and rival distribution sources — didn’t believe the re-release would put the superhero pic to the top; Endgame‘s foreign territories outside China and the United States were quite short when compared to those of Avatar,” Anthony D’Alessandro had wrote.

A larger part of the $37million had come from offshore markets, but there was a campaign in the United States to make Avengers: Endgame the biggest movie of all time.  While it’s presently the highest-earning movie now, it could, however, lose its position due to inflation.

Reacting, Disney Chairman Alan Horn in a press release congratulated Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios team as well as fans around the world for lifting Avengers: Endgame to its historic heights.

Nevertheless, Anthony and Joe Russo the brains behind Endgame are planning to launch a tour titled “We Love You 3000.” 

The tour is to commemorate the release of Avenger Endgame on Digital and Blu-ray. In view of that, the tour also plans to appreciate the people that have extended their love and support for the Franchise, MCU.
