Have you ever watched a children’s program called: ‘Kids say the darndest things?

Honesty and bluntness are the major attributes used by these little humans in expressing themselves during the program.

Children understand things from a very different perspective and being fascinated by their questions and comments, a New York City school teacher, Alyssa Cowit has compiled hilarious and weird things from her Kindergarteners.

Sharing them on an Instagram account titled ‘Live From Snack Time’, Alyssa believes children are curious, honest and brilliant.  While often perplexed, Alyssa also believes it’s a teacher’s duty to take up what’s said by children seriously.

Garnering over 100k followers, the account page was launched in 2015 with a digital marketing manager with Walt Disney Studios, Greg Dunbar.

While it has equally launched a book called ‘I Did My Homework In My Head,’ Alyssa wants to help adults understand that children are not just acting outrageously to seek attention, but rather think out of the box most of the time.
