About 40% of non-married relationships also witness infidelity at one point. Also, statistics have long shown that more men cheat than women.

The General Social Survey interviewed married men and women, which show staggering numbers. 20% of married men admitted they slept with people other than their partners at least once, and 13% of women admitted to the same thing. Surprisingly, the younger generations are starting to move away from the strict monogamy view. YouGov statistics revealed that only 56% of youngsters between the ages of 18 and 29 would not feel okay for their partners to sleep with someone else, in contrast to 78% for age 65+. But the most positive response comes from age 30-44, with 9% of them claiming they’ll feel okay about it.
