Really, Heart-stopping! A woman climbed into a lion zone at a New York Zoo and began to taunt the predator. Footage of the scene was taken over the weekend and shared by Realsobrino.

Showing an unnamed woman standing with an African Lion at the Bronx Zoo, it was reported that she had bypassed a low wooden safety barrier and stepped into the enclosure.

In the viral video, the woman was captured staring at the lion’s eye as other visitors at the exhibits watch on in fear.

The lion watched the woman inquisitively as she began to dance around as well as taunt him. The major sharer posted two videos of the scene, displaying the woman jokingly waving and trying to get the lion’s attention.

‘She shouldn’t have done this,’ a woman said in the video.

In between the lion and the woman is a large concrete, it really kept them separated. The woman was specifically not in the main danger enclosure, hence I wonder what could have happened by now.

Well, people in the video expressed unimpressed, with a user commenting ‘I hope she goes right to jail. This is really stupid.’

‘Even the lion knows she’s an idiot!’ another user added.

Some individuals were, on the other hand, excited that the lion was unharmed and didn’t suffer due to the strange scenario.

‘Thankfully, the lion didn’t hurt her for being ignorant.’ a third user commented.

The Bronx Zoo said they learned of the incident after it was reported and revealed they have a ‘tolerance policy’ on violation and trespasses

However, the incident was confirmed true by the Bronx Zoo. A staff told NBC New York, a report of a person climbing over the safety barrier was received over the weekend. ‘We have a Zoo tolerance policy on trespass and violation of barriers,’ the staff claimed.

It’s expected that legal action is taken against the unidentified woman.
