As it turns out, you actually get more when you make orders in fast-food joints in the US compared to the UK. TikTok user @_foodiess__ has been dedicating its page to showing the differences between soda drinks, cookies, and other big brand products.
The US’ KFC large size is almost twice the large size of the UK’s drink!
The price for a regular size carbonated drink in the US KFC is $1.69. Meanwhile, the price for the UK’s regular size is £1.20 or about $1.80. Yeah, UK has to pay more for less! However, Americans have complaints about their larger portion being more ice than the soda itself.
The viral video was viewed more than 2.7 million times and was continue with a series of different food comparisons from KFC.

The US’ large fries have legit twice the amount of UK’s portion.
The US large portion costs $4.49, a two-dollar increase from its individual size. The UK’s large portion is only £1.99 or around $2.77, which is almost half the price of the US’ portion.
But it appears that Starbucks is consistent with their serving size; Venti itself is derived from the Italian word that meant 20 oz!
