The State Border Service of Ukraine awarded the pensioner a medal.

As unbelievable as it sounds, it has been confirmed by the State Border Service of Ukraine. It’s no news that Ukraine is facing trouble times with Russian attacks.

Yet Ukraine isn’t giving up, and one of its citizens, Valeriy, has proved he has had enough of it.
Valeriy picked off the aircraft worth £74million, and video circulating at the time showed it careening back to earth. Footage shared by the agency shows the pensioner walking with a rifle slung over his shoulder through the city’s mostly destroyed Russian bombardment. He was also spotted retrieving some of the debris of the exploded jet and keeping it in his garage.
Valeriy’s act has since been praised, especially for his assistance in protecting the state border.
Accordingly, the State Border Service has duly rewarded and honored him with a medal. However, advancing Ukrainian forces recently raised their flag above a recaptured village in Kherson as their bold counter-offensive continues to push back Russian troops. Images showed three soldiers hoisting up the blue and yellow national flag as a symbol of resistance above the roof titles of Vysokopillya.
