TikToker Reveals Reality Of Social Media With ‘Extreme’ Before And After Photos
The damage on self-esteem and confidence is crystal clear.
Holly Cockerill has had enough of the new levels of fakery on social media. Taking to TikTok, Holly, who’s knowledgeable about the inner workings of the beauty industry, recently exposed her Instagram Vs. Reality selfies that had gone viral. “Social media is fake, don’t be fooled,” a caption of one of the videos had read.
Holly Cockerill, a social media creator, and makeup artist is using her photos to prove social media is fake.
The 27-Year-Old working as a support worker for people with learning disabilities got the inspiration to share the truth behind edited pics after she shared a few images years back when she had acne and got good responses from people who could relate. Holly told BoredPanda that she’s guilty of always scrolling through Instagram and seeing perfect selfies with the ideal life.
