Being a cat or dog person is something that sticks with you for life. Living with someone who prefers dogs while you prefer cats or vice versa can make it hard to find a nice position in between. It’s not like everyone can get both a dog and a cat or a hybrid of them both, right?

Recently in Vietnam, a certain pup has been going viral for being super cute and also derpy-looking at times. People are arguing that this pup looks straight out of a cartoon and another with more logical explanations said this is a H’mong dog breed. Others just don’t care – ‘it’s a cuddly gud boi and I want it.’

His owners are Hai Anh and Tuan from Vietnam.
Some people think this is a hybrid breed between a corgi with a local breed, H’mong.
H’mong is an ancient dog breed of Vietnam and was bred for hunting by ethnic people as well as for guarding. They are known for their strength and intelligence, originally came from the northern parts of Vietnam. They are also ‘very local and cute animal’ according to an owner of two H’mong dogs.
And now, the moment of truth: what is Dúi (the name of the dog)?
The owner explained that he is actually a mix between a Dingo with a native dog breed. But on top of that, he might a gene mutation as well as he was bought from a mountainous province in Vietnam, so not much is known aside from that.
He’s a half-dingo, but people are still convinced he’s just a mix of cat and dog.
