The Real Anna Delvey Slammed Former Friend Rachel DeLoache Williams On Instagram
“Nobody cares about anything she has to say unless she’s talking about me.”
It is such a weird world to be in where criminals get their shows in the form of a biography of sorts. After ‘The Tindler Swindler‘, we get a fake German heiress Anna Sorokin, whose real name is Anna Delvey, who gets her own show titled ‘Inventing Anna’.
The person who Anna “Delvey” Sorokin was can be considered unique. Most of you may have watched ‘Inventing Anna’, which was a dramatization of the true story of the woman.
She faked her identity as a German heiress and conned a series of people, except Rachel DeLoache Williams.
Yup, Anna was declared not guilty for all charges made by Rachel against her by the 12 juries unanimously.
“I think promoting this whole narrative and celebrating a sociopathic, narcissistic, proven criminal is wrong,” said Rachel in an interview with Vanity Fair.
“Having had a front-row seat to [the Anna circus] for far too long, I’ve studied the way a con works more than anybody needs to. You watch the spectacle, but you’re not paying attention to what’s being marketed,” the former Vanity Fair staff continued.
But the 31-year-old previously convicted con-woman was not about to let it be: she has dirt on Rachel as well!
Anna revealed that Rachel actually asked her to join hands to write a book together.
Anna was totally crushing Rachel with her “flexible moral standards” with the fact that she wanted a book together while suing her at the same time.
And the last sentence has to burn so much for Rachel.
Although that last claim can be debated since Todd Spodek, Anna’s lawyer did say that Rachel could be making roughly $630k from selling her stories in the form of books and show deals. Her project with HBO has reportedly “expired,” but she was already paid $35k for discussing it with Lena Dunham.
