‘The Little Mermaid’ Trailer is launched, and Halle Bailey Proves She’s Perfect For This Role
The 22-year-old’s rendition was out of this world.
The first trailer for the live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid” dropped, and people couldn’t stop feeling emotional with the preview. It included the first look of Halle Bailey as Ariel the mermaid and the underwater kingdom at the D23 Expo.
Shown at the D23 Expo, the trailer even included a snippet of Halle’s angeling voice singing “Part of Your World.”
It was still a work in progress, with the movie still set to release next year. No other characters were officially shown, except for Flounder’s shadow while swimming behind Ariel.
She was invited on stage to share her feeling about being part of the Disney family.

The show’s cast includes Jonah Hauer-King from ‘Little Women’ as Prince Eric, Javier Bardem as King Triton, and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula. Awkwafina voices Scuttle, Jacob Tremblay voices Flounder, and Daveed Diggs voices Sebastian.
The internet couldn’t stop feeling emotional after Disney dropped the trailer.
She described the moment as “out-of-body” after watching the audience react to the trailer at the D23 Expo.

The movie is set for release on May 26, 2023. That’s around seven more months to go.
