Taylor Swift’s Documentary ‘Miss Americana’ On Netflix Will Be ‘Raw’ And ‘Emotional’
Set to be released on early 2020.
The ‘Lover’ singer’s getting her own documentary on Netflix and we’ve finally got a release date for it. Netflix Film recently announced its line up for Sundance Film Festival premieres in 2020 and ‘Taylor Swift: Miss Americana’ was under it.
Directed by Emmy-awarded Lana Wilson, Netflix summarizes the documentary as follows:
“A raw and emotionally revealing look at one of the most iconic artists of our time as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer, but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice.”
The 29-year-old has just revealed on Twitter weeks before that Scooter Braun and Scott Brochetta have had put a reign on her masters, refusing to approve her use of her old music in the documentary. Those who’ve followed through will know about the feud Swift had with Braun over the acquisition of the label.
