Netflix Drama ‘Marriage Story’ Swept Four Gotham Awards For Feature Film
It deserves all the awards it’s won.
Netflix drama film ‘Marriage Story’, starring Scarlett Johannson and Adam Driver, has proven to be more than relatable and filled with incredible cast. The film managed to won four out of six awards streaming giant Netflix won that night.
‘Marriage Story’ was nominated as best feature, actor Adam Driver was nominated as best actor, best screenplay by Noah Baumbach as well as audience award by IFP members.
Baumbach also thanked Netflix’s chief content Ted Sarandos as he walks to the podium for saving his movie and historic moviegoers-site Paris Theatre which now provides services to Netflix.
The other two awards fell to the hands of Ava DuVernay with her ‘When They See Us’ for breakthrough series and ‘American Victory’ as best documentary. ‘American Victory’ talks about Chinese billionaire who built a factory on an abandoned land of General Motors and sorts the tension between the parties involved.
