Sarah Paulson Pays Tribute To GF And Partner Holland Taylor On Her 79th Birthday

Sarah Paulson is utterly loved-up with GF and partner Taylor Holland, who herself is an icon of the screen with an appearance in All My Children and Two and a Half Men. Taking to Instagram, 47-Year-Old Paulson shared a touching tribute to Taylor as she celebrated her 79th birthday.

“Love of my life. The one. The only one. January 14th is my favorite [sic] day of the year – a day to unabashedly celebrate you @hollandvtaylor. I am the luckiest of the lucky. I love you only. Happy birthday magical poet darling.” Paulson’s tribute read.
She included this photo of Taylor, where she sat at what appeared to be a restaurant table.
The star of American Horror Story and Ratched, among others, has been with Taylor since 2015. Their relationship attained a topic of tabloid interest initially, especially as it was the first time Taylor opened up about being in a relationship with a woman.
“Love of my life. The one. The only one, “wrote Paulson, who has been in a relationship with Taylor since 2015.
In an interview with The Advocate Podcast, Taylor shared that the relationship with Paulson became so public because she’s an enormous star, and she herself was somewhat well-known. She added: “It became a news event, and so I wasn’t going to deny it. Well, I’m a very private person, just generally.”
When the pair’s relationship hit the news, it was the same period Taylor opened up about being into women.
“I would be no matter what my life was, but I was not private in the sense of hiding. I lived my life in public. I think I was about 29 or 30 when I had my first relationship with a woman, but I didn’t talk about it per se. It would never have occurred to me to talk about my personal life in an interview anyway.”
Their relationship turned heads because Paulson is more than three decades younger than Taylor.
Paulson had equally opened up in the past about the hateful comments that some people have made about the gap in age between her and Taylor, who’s more than three decades older. Speaking to The Guardian in 2020, the actress claimed she couldn’t remember people going nuts about Michael Douglas and Catherine-Zeta Jones regarding their age difference.

She stated: “For me, that seems to be the predominant interest in my relationship with Holland, what would be perceived by some as the strangeness of it, or the unlikelihood of it. I think people are fascinated by it because it’s so not typical.”
But despite the hateful remarks, Paulson and Taylor are still very happy together.
“Except for if you look around at plenty of well-known or recognizable couples when they’re heterosexual couples, it just runs rampant, and I don’t see anybody becoming obsessed by those relationships. Still, they’re very happy together, so it’s better just to let them be so.”
