‘Technically, I was 5-Years-Old when I got married. I had seven children in ten years. Do you think sometimes I don’t want to drink? Abiding by the rules and doing what you’re told is significant because that’s what I was originally taught. You don’t get into trouble when you do what you are told sometimes.’ Arlene explained.
Finally, she’s turned 21, and Ryan said in a voiceover: ‘We wanted her first legal drink to be the Reynolds Aviation Gin.’
Arlene was, however, shown taking a sip of what appears like a gin and tonic, with a birthday cake placed nearby. Arlene admitted she was approached about the Ad and didn’t at first know who Ryan Reynolds was.
‘Just ignore her, she’s been drinking.’ Ryan joked in the voiceover.
