Reporter Gets Interrupted By His Own Mom In This Wholesome Clip
“Hi, baby!”
Interruption in the middle of an on-field broadcast is super common. It’s a challenge for reporters to find a good spot to record despite all the traffic and noises that could be going on around them.
Myles Harris from ABC 6 was interrupted on his February 22 broadcast by no other than his own mom.
Harris knows it when he sees it: he was seen staring off-camera with that ‘what the hell’ gesture with his hands.
He pointed to a car outside the frame and told his cameraman, D’Angelo, “This is my mom, hold on.” And the cameraman, knowing this would be such a precious moment between the son and mom, replied, “Uh-huh” while keeping the camera rolling.
Harris fully knew what was going on as he said she’s been calling his phone all the time, but he was working.
“Hi, baby!” his mom sweetly called out to him. The cameraman was laughing uncontrollably.
But like the good-natured son he was, he introduced D’Angelo to his mom and told her she could say hi. And then he told her to quickly drive by as there were cars behind her, but you and I know that we wouldn’t be annoyed to watch such a wholesome exchange happening before us.
