Rebel Wilson, 42, Welcomes Baby Girl
“The BEST gift! I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable.”
The blonde beauty, Rebel Wilson, left her Instagram followers shocked when she announced she has welcomed a baby girl named Royce Lilian. The actress/comedienne, 42, posted a photo of the child along with a sweet caption that expressed just how proud she is to become a first-time mom.
The very day she made the announcement, Wilson had been pictured in this pink top with dark patterned leggings and black sneakers as she went for a casual stroll.
The movie star pulled up her flaxen locks as she complimented with sunglasses and a white baseball cap.
“Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lilian. I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s beautiful miracle! I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making,” Wilson wrote in the caption of the photo which showed Royce in a light pink onesie with unicorn socks.
The star stressed how grateful she was to her surrogate, adding “but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care.”
Wilson concluded: “Thank you for helping me start my family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift. I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly. Much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club.” In 2020, she told PEOPLE that she lost weight in hopes of becoming a mom because a fertility doctor said she would have a better chance of harvesting her eggs if she dropped some pounds.
She told the site at the time: “I thought, ‘Oh God, this guy’s so rude.’ He was right. I was carrying around a lot of excess weight. It’s almost like I didn’t think of my needs. I thought of a future child’s needs that really inspired me to get healthier.”
The Pitch Perfect actress has, however, been dating Ramona Agruma but recently denied they were engaged. She posted an IG story of herself and her partner on a trip to Disneyland during which they posed in front of Sleeping Beauty’s iconic castle and added a text graphic to the post – it read: “Thanks for the well wishes but we are NOT engaged!”
But Page Six reported the proposal occurred weeks ago and that the pair sported diamond rings at George Clooney’s Casamigos Halloween party on October 28.
Both Rebel and Ramona arrived at the event in Barbie-Inspired getups [pictured above] with several of their girlfriends. A source had also told Page Six about the proposal: “They were making out in a corner and telling everyone how excited they are to be engaged.” Notably, the Senior Year star had met Ramona through a setup by a friend due to him thinking they would hit it off.
And indeed, the couple did hit it off and has since been sharing photos of their budding relationship online.
Ramona is well-known for starting the sustainable fashion brand called Lemon Ve Limon in 2021. She also founded the jewelry brand called, DeLys, in 2013. As a couple, Wilson and Ramona have recently launched a limited collection called R&R Club. The actress, who is reported to be wildly happy announced it on Instagram and she was seen modeling their brand’s hooded sweatshirt with matching sweatpants.
Before coming out as gay, Wilson had dated the heir to the Anheuser-Busch brewing company, Jacob Bush, and they made their red-carpet debut in Monaco.
Accordingly, the comedian was rumored to be dating Matt Reid, an Australian tennis player, though the relationship was never confirmed.
