Prince Harry has revealed that he and Meghan had to flee Canada alongside Archie after the royals took away their security and cut them off financially. He also claims he had since make multi-million pounds deals with Spotify and Netflix to pay bills.

In a 90-minute interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reveal they had no plan to seek deals with the streamers having first quit the royal family but were forced to find ways of making money. Specifically, they were able to step away from royal life, thanks to the money left by his late mother, Princess Diana.

‘That was suggested by somebody else (a friend) by the point where my family cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us. I’ve got what my mum left me, and without that, we wouldn’t have been able to do this.’ 36-Year-Old Harry told Winfrey. Besides, Harry reveals their police protection was taken away at short notice due to a status change.

The deals with the streaming giants are believed to be worth over $100 million. Just when the couple first announced that they were quitting their roles as senior working royals, there were many speculations over who would foot the massive bill for their security. Hollywood Heavyweight Tyler Perry had, during this time, lent the couple his $18million Beverly Hills mansion and even paid for their security while living there. 

The deals with the streaming giants are believed to be worth over $100 million.
