People Are Slamming Brooklyn Beckham’s $3.5million Miami Wedding Amidst World Crisis

Brooklyn Beckham and her girlfriend Nicola Peltz held a grandeur wedding in Palm Beach, Florida. The couple’s lavish wedding, however, has been slammed by social media users who called them tone-deaf with their obscenely big party.
The couple had spent a total of $3.5million, all of which was footed by Nicola’s parents, financier Nelson and Claudia Peltz.
Users, however, have crowded Twitter telling the son of football star David Beckham with his wife Victoria how they could’ve spent more on helping others in need during these times of crisis. Most have commonly cited the ongoing invasion of Russia on their neighboring country, Ukraine.
“Doesn’t it cross their minds that all that money could save lives in Ukraine. Beyond contempt,” read one tweet.
Another commented, “Stupid amounts of money spent on his wedding!! David Beckham should take a lead out of Rashford’s book by helping people who could live a better life. Beckham is from the East End and should know better. Yes it’s his son’s wedding but 3million on it come on!!! That’s a joke.”
Others have slammed Brooklyn for “never having a real job” yet holding such a massive party for the occasion. One wrote, “Something grotesque about this wedding. Brooklyn has no job. Barely 20 years old. Wasting all this money.”
The reception has been rather hostile from many who suggested how the money could’ve been better spent.
Including celebrity Masterchef who’s called the spending on the wedding “obscene”.
But some have pointed out that the lavish spending has helped several businesses that have been most affected by the pandemic to get back up.
