Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra Welcome A Baby Girl 12 Weeks Early
They had always wanted a baby, but busy schedules get in the way.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, who had tied the knot in 2018, left their fans startled with the news of their expanding family. The couple is now parents, having welcomed a daughter 12 weeks early via surrogate. The baby girl was born at a Southern California hospital outside LA.

The pair took to their respective social media handles -Instagram and shared the happy news.
A source close to the couple has revealed the newborn will, however, remain at the facility until she’s healthy enough to return home with her parents. The A-list couple had been wanting to have a baby together for quite some time, but their schedules had always gotten in the way of their family planning.
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate,” the post read.
Nick and Priyanka wanted kids, but their schedules have always gotten in the way.

Thank you so much (heart emoji),” the pair wrote in a statement shared on social media. And as seen, they didn’t reveal further details about the sex or name of the newborn.
Priyanka doesn’t have any fertility issues, but she is 39, so it’s not getting any easier for the actress.
Both Nick and Priyanka had reportedly contacted an agency to explore their options and were eventually connected with a woman in SoCal who they believed was a good match for them. A source claimed: “Priyanka doesn’t have any fertility issues preventing her from having a baby, but she is 39 now, so it’s not getting any easier.”
The Quantico star had insisted when they do become parents, she plans to ‘slow down’ filming activities.
“Their busy work schedules also mean that it’s difficult for them to physically be together to conceive when she is ovulating, so some time ago, they went down the surrogacy route. This is the woman’s fifth surrogacy. They met her and really liked her. The baby had been due in April, but the surrogate ended up giving birth on Sunday, so she was very premature.”

The source added that Priyanka had been trying to get her filming done before the baby was due in April, but obviously, this has entirely thrown her plans. While there had been rumors and speculations that the marriage was in trouble and might divorce, the source insisted that it was total nonsense as Nick and Priyanka are very happy together.

Earlier this month, Priyanka revealed children were definitely in their future. While speaking in the February issue of Vanity Fair Magazine, the Quantico star insisted starting a family with her other half will happen when the time is right but that when they do become parents, she has plans to ‘slow down’ things.
And despite rumors of a divorce, a source has shared that Nick and Priyanka are VERY happy together.
