‘Y’all, I am dying! This is Ben’s journal record from Monday about our first homed school day.’ Candice wrote. Ben’s school report about his mother-turned-into-a-teacher didn’t, however, mince words.
Ben wrote: ‘It’s not going well. Mom is getting stressed out. My mom is really getting confused. We took a break so that mom can figure out some stuff. I am telling you all it’s not going good.’
Candice included some hashtags to her post which opines things aren’t quite bad as Ben is making out – #imgettingthehangofitnow #maybe #kidsseeeverthng #8yearldcalledmeout.’
In particular, her post has garnered over 250,000 likes with many other parents expressing their support to Candice’s new-found teaching role.
‘Don’t give up! We grow and learn with children. We’ve all been there. Three of my children homeschool presently. We all made it! A supportive mother wrote.
Another added: ‘Great penmanship! Punctuation is so on point and spelling appears good. I’m impressed. Mom, please give yourself a break. I teach 5th grade and I feel like I am good at what I do best. Nevertheless, I am now my 13-Year-old’s teacher and it’s so different.’
