MMA Champion Angela Lee Flaunts Staggering Post Baby Weight Loss Ahead Of Her Fighting Return
She’s set to return to the cage in March, defending her atomweight title.
Angela Lee, who competed in the Singapore-based ONE Championship, hasn’t fought since October 2019 after beating Xiong Jing Nan through a submission. In April 2021, the Mixed Martial arts champion welcomed her baby daughter, Ava Marie, and now, she has shown off her weight loss with a touching post on Instagram.
MMA champion Angela Lee has shown off her incredible weight loss as she prepares to return to the cage.
The MMA champion hadn’t fought since 2019, when she reclaimed the title after beating Xiong Jing Nan.
The American fighter shared a side-by-side photo of herself while pregnant, not long before giving birth and her nine months on holding her daughter and flexing her right bicep. She also flaunted her toned abs and physique in the post, captioned: “Yesterday Ava Marie made 9 months, and wow, what a journey it has been for us!”
In April 2021, the American fighter welcomed her baby daughter, Ava Marie.
She is now set to return to the cage, where she will have to weigh 115lb for the first time in over 2years.
“This picture really puts it all in perspective for me. On the left, I was 9months pregnant with Ava, just days away from giving birth & on the right is a picture we took today! Ava is 9 months old, and it’s been 9 months postpartum for me. I am so grateful for this body of mine that housed, nourished, and protected my baby girl.”
Angela is grateful to her body for housing, nourishing, and protecting her baby girl.
She’s married to Brazilian MMA fighter Bruno Pucci, but he hasn’t fought since becoming a dad.
“I’m definitely taking a lot better care of my body, nourishing it not just for me but also for Ava as I’m still breastfeeding and nursing her. We’ve gone through a lot, and we have grown a lot together. I’m so proud of us! I love you, baby girl; thank you for teaching me how to be a good momma to you.”

However, 25-Year-Old Angela will return to the cage in March, defending her atomweight title against Thailand’s Stamp Fairtex. Their bout will headline the ONE X event in Singapore, with Fairtex having earned her spot as a challenger by winning a Grand Prix event in 2021.
Angela will have to defend her ONE Championship title in Singapore in March.
Nonetheless, Champion Stamp Fairtex had won three on the bounce at the end of 2021.
