While a lot of celebrities are holed up in their gigantic mansions amid the ongoing pandemic, Miley Cyrus and partner Cody Simpson recently got involved in community service.

Over the weekend, the pair surprised healthcare workers in Los Angeles with 120 free tacos at a local hospital as appreciation for their tireless duties.

Cody, 23, an Australian singer documented the philanthropic act on Instagram and wrote a caption that reads: ‘Tacos for the amazing healthcare workers at our local hospital.’

‘Grateful for these true legends of our time, risking their lives to battling the ongoing pandemic. Show love to yours within your community.’ Cody said.

In a picture, Cody and Miley, 27, were spotted posing next to a trolley of paper bags filled up with tacos. The duo equally dons protective masks and gloves while showcasing their giving away efforts.

Another photo displayed paper bags filled into the boot of a car, en route to the local hospital. The bags were designed with hand-written messages, one of which read: ‘Thank you for your tireless support. Stay strong always!’

The Australian singer also uploaded a picture of thankful healthcare workers taking a photograph with their tacos.

Nevertheless, the charitable effort came after Miley unveiled her and Mac Cosmetics are working closely to help those severely impacted with the pandemic. The Wrecking Ball hitmaker hopes to raise a total of $10million for organizations assisting those in need.
