Man Accidentally Let Out 250 Crickets In His Bathroom, And People Can’t Get Enough Of It

This is a huge nightmare for those of you who can’t stand bugs, so stay warned. If you have grown up in places where the summer gets humid and invites all kinds of unwanted bugs to your abode, this is 10x worse than that. Christopher Ingraham just wanted to go about their day ordering food for his pet.

It had never occurred to him that he should have read how the crickets are transported and how to handle them before getting them. It became the one day (and probably week) he won’t ever forget his whole life: the day insects invaded his home.

One would probably think the box contained several containers of the crickets. But no one would imagine that this box was the container itself and all hell break loose when he opened it. He quickly taped it back and thought it was sealed properly. Alas, it wasn’t.

So, Christopher lives with his wife, Briana, their 5-year-old twins, and a one-year-old. They also own three cats, a mixed beagle, and a lizard. Of course, it was the best day ever for the cats, and the lizard as snacks would occasionally slip in.

The crickets are for his lizard, Holly. Holly really loves crickets and can eat up to 10 a day along with other things such as worms and vegetables. Christopher added how even their pumpkin pie was getting eaten by the crickets, and even after weeks, they still have to deal with the loose bugs and hear the chirps of Holly’s snacks!

Of course, people were falling off their chairs reading the thread!

Well, it was $11.5 worth of entertainment for the whole of Twitter to enjoy! Holly is now well-fed, and the cats are calm again. There might be literal cricket sounds when it’s awkward, but at least… they won’t really be alone anymore, right?
