He had threatened to resign from the Illuminati if he didn’t win.

Lil Nas X, the pop rapper, looked regal in an ornate white two-piece accented with symbolic butterflies at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. As he walked the red carpet, the singer-born Montero Lamar gave a boost to his 6ft2in frame with matching platform boots, which had him towering.

His hairstylist, Stacey Kutz, even coiffed the Atlanta-born star’s natural locks to make him appear taller.

Lil Nas X accessorized his look with a diamond grill, earrings, and rings, including a blue eye shadow that can be spotted on the corners of his eyes. At the time, she did host a dinner for her girlfriends at the post-Hotel Costes on Rue Saint Honore in Paris. The unique mini dress was part of a fall 2012 collection.

However, the outfit didn’t last all night on Lil Nas as the rapper later changed into a sparkly black suit. He kicked off his Dead Right Now performance in a cape to cover it before stripping down to a one-sleeve bejeweled crop top and later a military jacket. He didn’t win a Grammy award, but he had about five nominations, including his song Montero for Record and Song of the Year, and Best Music Video.
