Leah Remini Slammed Tom Cruise For His Crimes Against Humanity

He converted to Scientology under the influence of his first wife, Mimi Rogers.

Tom Cruise’s newest movie, Top Gun: Maverick, is now highly watched in theaters, but the actor has been accused of playing a part in crimes against humanity. Leah Remini, the King of Queen star, particularly shared her criticism of Cruise written by Claire Headley online.

In her allegations against the actor & Scientology, Leah warned, “don’t let the movie star charm fool you.”

The post continued: “Glad all you Top Gun fans are enjoying the new movie. Personally, recent posts about this movie only serve to remind me of Tom Cruise and his crimes against humanity.” It went on to mention Cruise’s daughter, Suri, and ex-wife Katie Holmes while accusing the actor of knowing who he’s supporting & the organization’s abuses.

“Tom Cruise promotes a dangerous cult that destroyed my family too, the same cult that almost cost me my marriage and my life,” the post stated.

“The same cult that forced me to have two abortions, and which I fled from in 2015 with the clothes on my back and $200 in my pocket, to which they tracked me down, across state lines, to attempt to prevent my escape.” Leah has since applauded Headley for her courage in writing it and reiterated that Cruise knows what’s happening in Scientology.

In 1986, Cruise converted to Scientology under the influence of his first wife, Mimi Rogers, who has since left the church.

Ex-members of the church have claimed the actor had tried to convert Steven Spielberg, David Beckham, and Will Smith to the church. Likewise, the church has faced allegations of mistreatment of members and exploitative practices. At a time, Leah had even made an Emmy-award-winning doc. Series titled Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, where she spoke to those who have left the church about their experiences.

This comes as she had also previously told US Weekly it’s time for people to start waking up and said Cruise manipulated his image to be the good guy.

However, Leah herself was a Scientologist but left in 2013. Since then, she’s been vocal about her negative experiences with the church. Accordingly, Claire and her husband Marc had filed a court case against the church of Scientology in 2009, alleging the organization violated human trafficking laws and people’s human rights. But their case was dismissed after the courts decided the church was protected by a ministerial exemption, a legal doctrine in US law that protects religious institutions.
