Kanye West Celebrates Running Pete Off Instagram After He Deleted His New Account
“Tell your mother I changed your name for life.”
Having taken a break to celebrate the release of his new album “Donda 2”, Kanye West has returned to sharing things about Pete Davidson. In his latest post, the rapper, also known as Ye, bragged about running Pete off Instagram after the SNL star deleted his new account due to abusive comments from Ye’s fans calling him “Skete.”
“Ran Skete off the gram,” Kanye wrote alongside a snap of Davidson’s de-functional account and a screenshot of a BuzzFeed News article about his fans’ comments.
He added: “Tell your mother I changed your name for life,” referring to his Skete nickname.
This comes just days after Kanye seemed to aim at Pete in brand new lyrics, which he debuted at his Donda 2 listening party in Miami.

In a track titled “Security,” he had rapped about someone he feels is standing in the way of him and his four children he shares with Kim.
Accordingly, Kanye depicted himself freely entering Kim’s home, painting the image of the ideal family unit he wishes to rebuild, and suggested that anyone who might stop him, presumably Davidson, from doing this would put their security at risk of harm.
“I ain’t getting frisked, I put your security at risk/ I walk in the crib, no getting frisk,” he had rapped.
In the final verse, the rapper added: “Never take the family pictures off the fridge. Never stand between a man and his kids/Y’all ain’t got enough security for this.”
Most of his fans have since found the lyrics PROBLEMATIC. But then it should be recalled that Ye had encouraged his fans to scream at Davidson in the street earlier this month.
Particularly, Davidson rejoined Instagram years after deactivating his account for the good of his mental health. His new account gained millions of followers very quickly, and many people did speculate that rejoining the platform was to finally issue some responses to Ye’s harassment. When he shared his first post, fans were surprised that his debut did not refer to Kanye.
Instead, Davidson welcomed his new followers with an exclusive behind-the-scenes video clip from the set of his new movie, “The Home,” which is currently filming.
He captioned the post: “They’re letting me add my dialogue to The Home,” alongside the hashtags #welcometomyinstagram and #thisisthetypeofstuffyoucanbeexpecting.”
But sadly, his post was flooded with harsh remarks from Ye’s fans, who told Davidson to find god and called him Skete, according to the screenshot [pictured below]. Hours later, the new Instagram account mysteriously disappeared, prompting his followers to yet again speculate that the abusive remarks had caused him to deactivate.
Sources have claimed Davidson’s decision to deactivate had nothing to do with Ye or his fanbase.
Someone close to him told Page Six: “Pete deleted his IG because immediately after his first post, he started receiving a flood of messages, both positive and negative, reminding him why he didn’t want social media to begin with. Pete is in the middle of several big film projects and wants to continue to stay very focused on his work and the positive things happening in his life. Kanye didn’t drive Pete off social media.”
However, Ye had dished out a string of abusive Instagram posts against Davidson in the last two weeks.

On several occasions, he made it clear that he has concerns about Davidson’s relationship with his children and even leaked a message supposedly sent by the comedian where he reassured Ye that he has no intentions of interfering.
