Johnny Depp ‘Blocked’ From Making Cameo In Disney’s Pirates Of The Caribbean

Johnny Depp has been through personal battles over the years, and his recent public lawsuit against a British newspaper that dubbed him a ‘wife-beater’ resulted in an embarrassing loss for the actor. This aftermath has had the actor removed from his most recent franchise – the dark wizard Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts Series.

Depp’s removal from the Wizarding film has led to another news that he won’t be making an appearance in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The entertainment conglomerate has officially distanced itself from 57-Year-Old Depp, and reportedly, it’s claimed that Disney balked at executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer’s idea of bringing back Depp. 

Now, it’s rumored that Disney is pursuing a reboot that will feature Margot Robbie. According to the THR report, Producer Bruckheimer is one of Depp’s biggest champions despite alleging that his injured finger resulted from a car door accident. Depp had blamed it on his ex-wife Amber heard. Disney’s rebuke indicates that Depp’s time as Jack Sparrow is genuinely over, and Robbie’s involvement will undoubtedly take the franchise in a whole new direction. 

Besides, the decision from a company that had dubbed Depp as one of their legends for his role in numerous Disney films is downright surprising. But then, Disney isn’t the kind of organization that would hire someone with Depp’s history, so even an appearance wouldn’t be allowed. Nevertheless, Actor Depp had tried removing Amber Heard from starring in Aquaman 2. Depp expressed his desire to have Heard removed via a message sent to his sister Christi Dembrowski, a producer who has had deals with Warner Bros. 

On the other hand, whether Depp repairs his reputation or not, he’s unlikely to cast as the lead in any major franchise again. Could his life battles be the end of his career?
