John Legend Is 2019’s Sexiest Man Alive And His Wife Can’t Stop Flaunting It
The dream we can never live in.
The 40-year-old singer of ‘All of You’ John Legend has been nominated as People’s Magazine 2019’s Sexiest Man Alive. The judge from ‘The Voice’ is also the fourth man from the show that was named with that title.
So, his wife Chrissy Teigen took it to Twitter to share just how proud she is of this. She didn’t forget to include the cover with his husband showing off his charisma.
John has an EGOT, which stands from Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony. With the addition of the latest title, John is now a ‘VEGOTSMA’ which adds The Voice and Sexiest Man Alive titles to it.
Blake Shelton, 2017’s SMA, presented him a denim shorts that reads VEGOTSMA in dazzling glitters.
John is featured on double covers for People magazine’s Nov 25 issue.
He thanks People as well as Blake for the mentorship.
“I want to thank People magazine, of course, but mostly I want to thank Blake Shelton,” says the singer. “Because I sat next to him for the last few months and, I learned his sexy ways.”
He jokingly described how he’d learned, “I observed every move he made, every utterance that came from his mouth, and I think some of it rubbed off on me, and I think that has everything to do with why we’re here today .”
As to how his wife reacted, John said, “I finally impressed my wife.”
Previously in 2018, 47-year-old actor Idris Elba was nominated the title. The man was also the third to be chosen for the title after Blake and Adam Levine.
Some of the sexiest men who earned the titles were Keanu Reeves, Ben Affleck, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Hemsworth, and Dwayne Johnson.
John was married to his wife Chrissy in 2013 and had two children, 3-year-old Luna and 1-year-old Miles, together. He won ‘The Voice’ on season 16 with singer Maelyn Jarmon.
Mark Harmon was named 1986’s Sexiest Man Alive.
Ben Affleck earned the title in 2002.
John has multiple Grammy Awards. His first Oscar was in 2015 where he co-wrote the song ‘Glory’ for the movie ‘Selma’. He was nominated a Tony Award for co-producing ‘Jitney’ and an Emmy as the producer of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ where he acted as the lead role.
