Jeremy Renner Is In Critical But Stable Condition After A Snow Plowing Incident, Fans Are Praying
“He’s one of those individuals that most of the time you don’t know he’s doing it.”
Jeremy Renner finally updated his fans through his social media on his status. The actor shared that he’s still “messed up” but is thanking his fans who were constantly asking if he was okay and praying for his safety.
Less than 24 hours ago, Renner was reported to have been involved in a severe snowplowing incident and was in critical condition at the hospital.
His representative shared, “Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd, 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.”
The “Hawkeye” actor reportedly sustained “injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today.”
Additionally, “His family is with him, and he is receiving excellent care.”
Washoe County Sheriff’s Office shared that they received a traumatic injury report in Reno, Nevada at 9 AM on January 1.
Renner was run over by his own snow plough, which was at least 6,500kg, or three times the weight of a car. He was apparently trying to help a family member whose car got stuck after a severe snowstorm swept through the area. Neighbors have praised him as a great member of the community as he’s often been helping out in clearing the snow from the road.
The sheriff shared, “Throughout the community, he has been very generous and he’s one of those individuals that most of the time you don’t know he’s doing it, but he has made a tremendous impact on this community.”
At least 60 people reportedly lost their lives to the intense snowstorm that swept through the country, including rally driving champion Ken Block in Utah.
