Stockpilers are throwing away good food items after hoarding more than they can eat as a result of COVID-19 panic buying.

Photos of bins stacked high with bread, fruit, and food were recently uploaded to different social media platforms as the death toll of British COVID-19 rose by 180 in just 24hrs, reaching total deaths of 1,408.

Over the weekend, bunches of bananas, unopened boxes of chicken products and loaves of bread were kept aside after they went past their use-by date.

Unopened cans of food and packets of pasta were seen filling a black bin in Bury, Greater Manchester. A Photo of the bin shared with Twitter users has, however, prompted internet users to slam the panic buyers as wasteful.
