The phrase “Fake It Till You Make It” is literally everywhere! An internet search pulls this adage on numerous business speeches and TED talks, all preaching the benefits. As a result, it’s no surprise that many people think acting in this manner will help them progress while achieving some goals. However, it can hit back hard, and the aftermath can somewhat be very embarrassing.
Oceane El Himer’s ‘Fake It Till You Make It’ moment on a flight went hilariously wrong.
This is precisely what happened to Oceane El Himer, a French Instagrammer/influencer who has been caught out by fans posing for a photo in a business class but flying in an economy cabin of a flight from Dubai to Monaco. The Model and reality TV star, in particular, got busted after sharing the pics on Instagram, where she donned a Boohoo purple tracksuit and a light green cropped jumper.

Oceane from Bordeaux, France, equally had heavy makeup, a designer bag, and hair extensions. “Next stop-Monaco Je fly toute la night (I fly all night).” Oceane captioned the image, which has since garnered over 100K likes. Unfortunately, the photos have soon found their way to Twitter, where her presence was publicly exposed. “This is sad.” A user commented.

A few defended the influencer with another saying: “You know what. I respect it; this is the equivalent of me taking a zoom meeting in my underwear nobody says you gotta have yours s*** together. You have to prove you have it just together enough to pretend as you do.” Nonetheless, Oceane isn’t the first star to be caught in the act of pretending to upgrade their flying plans.
