‘I Was Hospitalized After Holding Farts In For Two Years Around My BF’

While working at her coffee shop, Cara Clarke noticed everything wasn’t copasetic after experiencing extreme pain in her stomach. The pain was so much she couldn’t hold her tears and even limp as she walked. Worried, the 19-Year-Old reached out to a doctor and was referred to the hospital. 

During her discussion with the doctors, it was found that Clarke had refused to let a fart out for a long time. 

She confessed via her TikTok clip: “At the hospital, I started blaming my boyfriend because I do always hold my farts in around him. We’ve been together two years, and it’s still the case.” Clarke, who claimed she’s easygoing despite an aversion to burping and farting, was eventually found suffering from appendicitis through blood tests. 

Her appendix had burst and required surgery. What caused the affliction is unknown, but Johns Hopkins shared it’s caused when the tube that joins the large intestine and appendix is blocked by stool. 

Of her BF’s reaction, 21-Year-Old Kyle Duffy, Clarke explained: “He honestly didn’t know what to say. He said, ‘God, people are going to think you’re afraid of everything with me.” While this seems an obtuse reaction to a paramour’s pain, Clarke stated that humor actually helped her to get through the ordeal. And thankfully, her appendectomy transpired without difficulty. 

While she hopes to be back at work within the next week, Clarke has been left shocked that her peculiar condition could make a hit on TikTok.

We always take the p**s out of each other.” In the light, Clarke plans to never again hold in her farts – she is letting it all out from now on.
