Turning a new leaf before it’s too late is an act many people, particularly prisoners, have turned to. Besides, not being denied the motivation that can change for the better has remarkably transformed many ex-inmates’ lives, including Jessica Kent.

Jessica Kent, 31, has incredibly transformed her life after getting clean of heroin, pills, and methamphetamine.

Jessica, 31, for ten years, had regularly relied on heroin, pills, and methamphetamine. She had also been sentenced to prison for drug, assault, and firearm charges. Amid serving her two and a half years, Jessica gave birth while chained to a bed, which left her with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Thankfully, Jessica has graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree and is currently writing a book.

But thankfully, the now mom-of-two from New York has graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree and is currently writing a book that might help others overcome their drug addiction. Specifically, Jessica has been sharing her long recovery process using YouTube and TikTok as she hopes to help others who suffered as she did.

In addition to the PTSD, Jessica suffered depression, anxiety, which she dealt with for a long time.
